Innocent

I'm wondering today, as I plod along the way
Just what I would say, If I had somewhat to say,
Shall I consider FEARS, or wasted broken years?
A line of leaky buckets, filled with innocent tears?

I'm wondering what God thinks of Innocent people?

Is there such a thing?

How.... [IF the 'original sin' theory is correct] ... How could there be anyone who qualifies as "INNOCENT"????????

Job 4:7 Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off?

Well well... That is one way of looking at it, eh?
"Who ever persished being innocent?"

The "original sin" theory says we are all born guilty...
And, as we all know, the bible says that ALL have sinned... so, how could anyone be "innocent'???

But, then, there's the other side of the coin:

Deu 27:25 Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

According to my Bible, Deu 27:25 indicates that there IS such a thing as an "INNOCENT" person!

Job 17:8 Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.

Upright men?? "the innocent"?? Could it be?
All have sinned, so all are guilty, and yet... some are "innocent".....

Job 33:9 I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.

Job really believed that he was... innocent! Was he?

When will all things come to pass?
Will our sins forever last?
Will God forever hold a grudge?
Or will He be a merciful judge?

Psa 19:13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

"presumptious sins"?
"the great transgression"?
In this evil world, which transgression would that be?

It's tough to look around at the society we live in and see anyone or anything as "innocent", and yet, the Bible mentions it...
The media is working overtime to strip away the last vestiges of innocence... and the people lap it up like water... How soon will the Great God move to intervene?

Thy Kingdom come!
