Response to Re: Heaven

Hello Sandy, I hope you are well.

You spoke of a 'balance'... Well, it may seem that I, too, am off balance...

You said, "That is true Phil. But He did bring what is referred to as the kingdom of God to us, for us to walk in upon this earth..."

I don't believe that He brought the Kingdom to us... not yet. That is a yet future event that will occur at the last trump. What He brought was the opportunity to be begotten into the very Family of God.. to those few He will call in this present age. That calling is not open to the general public at this time.

You also said, "But yes, I agree there is a place where we will go that is called Heaven at our final resurrection ..."

I believe that when we are resurrected, we will stay right here...

Lastly, you said, ".. when I speak of a kingdom on earth He has come to provide us with, I am not speaking of where we will go when we put off these tabernacles we dwell within while here at all, as some may be doing."

I understand. but I find no indication that we are going to heaven. What I do find is that God the Father and Jesus the Son coming here to dwell with us.

I heard a preacher just the other day... witnessing to some on the street... he told them that the Bible SAID that we were going to heaven... well, he was sincere, but he was wrong. It doesn't say that.

I appreciate this opportunity to respond, and if you feel that what I believe is incorrect, please say on...

God Bless,
Phil
