Gerard, most of the people who see us posting about these verses will tell you straight out that they are not speaking of the 'Christmas Tree'.. and that is true...[the truth has versions]

The truth is that Jer. 10:2-5 is speaking of the tree that became known as the 'Christmas Tree'... it is the same custom, done the same way, [with upgrades and modifications], electric lights and stuff... same time of the year... same thing, only 'different'... Now, they tell us, it is NOT and idol, it is NOT and ASHARAH <sp>... Now, it is all about Christ! And why not? IF He is the REASON for the season...[strange, because the 'season' existed long before Christ was born]...

No, Jer. 10:2-5 is not speaking of the Christmas Tree, it is speaking of the idol that was re-named 'the Christmas Tree'...
