Heh, that reminds me of that old song, "Hungry Eyes" ... heheh... (O)|(O)
anyway, you said this,
And yes, if you look at this thru fleshly eyes, not considering other scripture that speak of days, it would appear to me to be one day only. But I don't do so anymore.
Soooo... you think I'm looking at this through "fleshly eyes"... Aha!
Well, I admit, I do use the eyes I was given... but, I'll tell ya, God has blessed me with the gift of His Spirit... and I read His word and strive to see it thought His Eyes...
I bet you feel the same way... we both believe that we do, and we both believe that we are seeing what God sees and wants us to see also.
And yet, we see two different things...
Hebrews 4... I've tried to share what I see there... and so have you... still, no agreement... One of us believes that God meant what He said, "I am the Lord, I change not", and the other believes that He did change... (Is that a fair accessment?) Or, am I stating it incorrectly? No offense, BTW...
just trying to capsulize it all a bit.
Not sure how interested you are in this discussion, but I think we've done pretty well at sharing our views without offense... Do you want to go a bit deeper in the topic? Those "other scriptures that speak of days" you mentioned... did I fail to consider them in my replies? I'm willing to go back and do so... let me know.Phil Barnes
"Christ came to be a KING. When His reign begins, world peace will break out along with worldwide happiness, prosperity, abundance and supreme joy! No human government has ever been able to bring these things to even one country on earth. This soon-coming kingdom is the core of the very gospel that Christ brought.
