Response to Re: Law and Grace

Hello Sandy... I see your reply...

And oh by the way. I asked for the difference between walking under the two. Not what they both consist of. And apparently you do not know the difference I am talking about.

Oh well, I gave the answer that God gave me... That's what we're supposed to do.

Walking meaning what one must do basically in order to achieve one of the other fully. The law required men to work themselves to obey it, therefore to walk in it.

Surely, you don't think that!!!

Those who do think that, have the wrong idea!!
The idea that there are no 'works' involved in being a Christian, keeps those would-be Christians from making any effort to 'be good'.. We strive to make our own children 'behave', but when it comes to US, obeying OUR FATHER, we want Him to consider us as 'behaving' because our big brother has already 'done it for us'... Do you suppose that would have worked with YOUR parents? Would they have accepted YOUR LACK of obedience, AS OBEDIENCE, because your sibling was 'good'?? How tragic to think that God is that lax in His parenting!!
But, sadly, that is the world we live in. (REV. 12:9)

And grace requires our being born again, having entered into what it says we will be able to begin to enter into once that we have begun to enter into the kingdom that is described in Romans 14:17 right here on this earth,

This world's version of "GRACE" requires the participants to go through what they call, "being born again"... essentially, that's merely going down to the altar, and, "giving one's heart to the lord,"- accepting him as their saviour. The only thing is, just 'accepting him', as they say, is not all there is to being a Christian! To be a Christian, one must do as instructed there in the Book of Acts:

Act 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Repent, and be baptized! Wow! Is he kidding?? Repent of WHAT???

Well, this world's version of repentance is to 'say a little prayer, and give your heart to the lord'... one might ask, "repent of what"!! Well, basically, 'repent of not letting Jesus do all the work!' Repent of trying to be good, just let God take Christ's Righteousness and give it to you! The fact that HE NEVER SINNED, is, somehow, supposed to be good enough for God, so good, in fact, that God will then 'accept that Goodness, and then give us a 'free ride'!! -basically, saying that because Christ was 'Righteous', , we are free to go ahead and IGNORE the laws that we have already broken! The BREAKING of which, caused the necessity of the SACRIFICE of Christ in the first place!!! But, hey, it's a 'no works' religion, so, no works are required!! One does not DARE make any effort to actually OBEY that old law, because THAT will offend God! He knows WE can't keep it, and doing so, just makes Him mad!! He will get us for trying to 'walk under the authority of that law'!! He doesn't like anyone trying to obey Him!! That would be spitting in the face of Christ!
In order to be "under grace" , one just needs to relax and let Jesus do all the work! hogwash!

because of His bringing forth HIs righteousness within our lives, as we do grow up in HIM. Our no longer working ourselves entirely in order to be righteous. Which by the way not one of us is able to be ourselves to begin with.

HEAR THIS!!! "HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS involved Him "keeping the law"- in all it's points! He was tempted in all ten, and He overcame in all Ten!
He kept the Ten Commandments- ALL TEN POINTS!

That was His Righteousness!!

Has He 'brought forth THAT righteousness in YOUR LIFE YET?

No, because you have rejected the law He kept! To reject that law, is to reject HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and to accept the erroneous belief that there are no works! That all one must do is relax and trust Jesus- let Him do all the heavy lifting! Then to expect His Father, to simply give one the Righteousness that Jesus worked so hard to achieve!! Ain't Gonna Happen!

This world's 'no works' mindset, causes all that follow that erroneous path, to simply 'give up' any effort to build righteous character!! God gave us what HE CALLS a Holy, Just, and Good Law! That is what He calls it!!

This world calls it a BURDEN and worse!

The Ten Commandments!! Just Ten... not like modern lawmakers who are constantly making more, and more, and more laws!!! And, yet, for the most part, people are willing to KEEP all those laws, so they can stay out of jail! Modern Christians, don't see God enforcing His Law's penalty right now, so, they assume that He never will! That is a Bad Mistake!!

Has God 'CHANGED'??? Has He changed HIS MORAL STANDARDS??

According to the 'no works' policy, evidently, the majority think He has!

Mal_3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not...

HE denies it! Does He mean what He says???

This is the majority's hue and cry!!

"JESUS DID IT FOR US SO WE DON'T HAVE TO."

[linked image]

Yeah, well, I simply don't believe that...and, God's Kingdom is NOT some ethereal 'something' set up in men's hearts... it is a REAL Kingdom, and, no one enters in to it NOW, because it is NOT here yet. That is a yet future event. But, again, I don't expect anyone to agree... most already have an explanation that is 'satisfactory' to them, and they are dedicated to that belief. I do understand.

***And, as far as Grace goes, I did explain the difference between being 'under the law' and being 'under grace'... it's just that most don't, or won't, accept that answer as having any substance. Again, no problem. happy.gif

Sorry to be so abrupt. But figured it was time to do so. Which of course, is the reason your responding to me the way you are yourself right now mostly too. Although true you do throw in a bit of fluff in there at the same time. But just to let you know for the most part, I am honestly not into fluff

So, far, Christ's prophecy has come true!!

Mat. 24:5 and Mark 13:6

Many have come in His Name, saying the He is "Christ", and have
DECEIVED MANY!!!

Sorry to be so "fluffy"... that's why I decided to be blunt. But figured it was time to do so.

Well, there's so much more I could say, but the reader might get bored and stop reading, (If they haven't already)
