I started this thread with the words, "Speaking of Pentecost"... which, in fact, the quote I used WAS DOING, but, actually
the topic I was focusing on is the erroneous idea that "Christians are to be 'liberated' from the LAW".
I took a moment to show how 'wrong' this concept is and why... So, lest we get off topic, I just wanted to re-focus on what it is all about.
A truly desirable goal is for the Christian to be liberated
from the PENALTY of the Law, but not from the Authority of the Law! God must remain in control and His Holy, Just and Good Law is how He rules...
So easily mixed up and misdirected... this world is deceived and misled... Thank God for the coming restoration of His Kingdom, and the cleansing, and re-educating of our our minds!
