April 19 2006, 11:45 AM

John 1:29
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (NKJ)

What do YOU think we should see?

Of course, the Bible does says that! So... I guess it means what it says...

He didn't come to just save the Christians... ??

In a sense I would say you're correct, however,

N> I agree with you that penalty paid on the cross was SUFFICIENT for ALL mankind. However, the question becomes WHY are not ALL saved. IOW "WHY" are just TRUE CHRISTIANS saved?

John 3:16-18
16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed IN THE NAME of God's one and only Son.
(NIV)

What do you think Jesus is REALLY saying about Himself in these verses? Then the next thing I believe we should really have to find out is WHAT DOES IT MEAN when it talks about not believing IN THE NAME of God's one and only Son?
