Pagan practices!! False Ministers!! The Whole World DECEIVED!!!
Yes, it was prophecied!!
God said, long ago, that pagan practices would creep into churches claiming to worship Him. He WARNED us to beware!
Jesus Christ warned Christians in the end times that false ministers would deceive the many!! Matt. 24:11.
According to scripture, these 'ministers' would appear to be "Christian".. they would preach ABOUT Jesus Christ, but still deceive many? Verses 4-5.
What?? False Ministers?? Yes!
False ministers have cleverly adopted the name of Christ as a cloak for their false doctrines. Jesus said, "Many shall come in my name" -- purporting to be Christian -- "saying, I am Christ" -- even teaching that Jesus is the Christ -- "and shall deceive many!" (Matt. 24:5.)
That is what the BIBLE says WILL HAPPEN!! Can you believe it?
What about you! Yes, Y O U! Do you 'worship Christ'??
Do you call yourself a Christian?? Could you possibly be DECEIVED???
Can one worship Christ, call himself "Christian," and still do it all in vain? Matt. 15:9.
How? -- by worshipping according to the dictates and traditions of men!! (Same verse.)
Very early in New Testament times, the Apostle Paul found FALSE TEACHERS pretending to be Christian!! They even pretended to be APOSTLES!! II Cor. 11:13-14.
If you claim to love Jesus and claim His name, then, these things should be of import to you! If they are not, then, BEWARE!!!
I saw where you pointed out this started in the very early church.An important fact often overlooked today.COuld it be your pastor fail under the teachings of a false prophet and is decieved???Not speaking about you personally but about all of us today.
Should we not take the time to seek out the Holy Spirit whom Christ appointed as both our teacher and preacher.I really and honestly think a good sign today of someone that is on to something....is when they are rejected by traditional christanity of today.I mean has anyone seriously studied the history of todays church to see where they have come from.
I know there are good people in them....and sincere ministers whom God has blessed over the years dispite the deception they were born into....But what about today.....how is God going to make a turn around of the church without calling his people to come up higher?Not!
