are you saying/implying that Celebrating new years ...does NOT have it's origins in paganism?
You seem to scoff at what is said on this and embrace the traditions of this celebration...
can you, instead of little quips and smart one liners....actually show how we are wrong on this...i state emphatically that anything you post on this issue...will be read carefully and brought back to study....
Wishing one a happy (?) is a way of acknoledging it...is it not...
Now...i am not sure about new years as much as christmas....easter, halloween etc...which mingle worship to the true G-d with paganism ...which He has stated we should FLEE from this....
even Birthdays....a Roman tradition....
people...if they really really studied ancient Rome and out culture....would be shocked to pause....to see the similarities...including the republic government etc....
If we claim to be christian...and are called to be separate...yet if one looks at a macroview of our society and we are pretty much an mirror image of Roman society....
these means nothing to you dennis?....it's okay?
