Almost every board I visit is filled with people who know they are right.
Are you right?
Sure you are! At least, you firmly believe it.
And, that is natural... it would be miserable going about thinking you were 'wrong'... Right?
Well, anyway, I find that there are so many different views, how can they all be right?
Is it good enough with God if one simply BELIEVES they are right?
Or does He expect us to make sure?
If what we believe isn't right, then what will God do?
Will He accept us anyway? If so, then does it really matter whether or not we are 'right'?
And, if not, then what?
Will God punish a person for being deceived?
Is it a sin to be deceived?
I'm told that the deceived person 'doesn't know' they are deceived.
Isn't that a good excuse?
Will God accept an excuse, good or otherwise?
When someone offers you information that conflicts with what you believe, do you rush to your Bible to find scriptures that you think 'disprove' it?
Is that what God told us to do?
"disprove all things, hold fast to that which seems to confirm your beliefs"
Here is some information for you to consider: The 'soul' is not immortal.
What will you do with that information? Will you brush it aside, and ignore it?
Will you open your Bible and spend a few minutes going over the same old verses that your preacher uses every sun-day to convince his congregation that they are already 'immortal'?
Or will you go the Book, and do as the Bereans did... search the scriptures to see if that statement is true...
The plain truth is, most will just ignore it... will you?
What does the Bible SAY about the soul? Is it 'immortal' or, can it DIE?
Ezekiel 18:4 and 20
More information: You don't HAVE a soul! You ARE a soul.
What did man 'become' when God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life?
"man BECAME a living soul".. no mention of God placing an immortal 'soul' within the man... Right? If that is contrary to what you believe, then...
Are you right or wrong? Maybe you should check to see...
