But let's think about His children... those He wants to be a part of His family... How can I ask the question I'm thinking of without using some words that might be offensive to someone?? God Afraid? NOOO! Ghastly! Why would I accuse Him of that? Well, I'm not...
So, maybe the word 'afraid' is inappropriate... hmm..
Let's seek a better word... "concerned"? Would that one be acceptable?
Is God 'concerned' about His Children?
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Ghastly!! After all, why should He be? They are 'saved', after all, right?? And, if 'saved', then why be 'concerned'? Most believe that if 'saved', then their future is locked in and they have it made...
Is 'Salvation' all that God is 'concerned' about? What about our physical health... our mental, physical, spiritual well being?? Our physical safety? Our personal and family living circumstances?? Doe God CARE, is He 'concerned' whether or not you have a sufficent supply of GASOLINE to get back and forth to work? Money for your child's braces and education? Is He concerned about the physical life we must all live, or just about 'Salvation'???
If He is concerned, how would we know? Has He made any provision in the Bible to show us how to have what we need, how to provide for our own, and how to be healthy and well? Or, in this life, are we simply 'on our own'?
Ok, stop laughing and clear it up, if you can...
