Mandarin is an impressive horse and seems to have and sire a beautiful nature as well--he is one of the older and more used sons of Regency CF, and his dam Lotus was highly regarded in her own right. He is full sister to Locket CF, another dandy individual in their Tyrebah breeding group.
Mandarin is 22 this year; he was co-owned by the late Carol Lyons and Marge Smith, and is still standing with Marge in Oregon.
