Jill, I am praying for your strength to get the support lined up so that he can stay with the police until you get what you need. Mine was sentenced to a batter group/anger management, but I didn't stick around to become a statistic as to how the outcome would be. Is your man still cruel to you while attending this group? Honey, guilt, shame, I feel you. But honestly, healing can happen, you deserve that. The most important thing right now is that you stay safe, and have rescources to protect yourself.
