Civic

by gerald

I've looked at every spec there is and a B16 is the cheapest and easiest way to go. Dont get an LS or youl be runing a 16 at the track. If you actualy want to go fast you might want to get more horspower/ despit the touqe factor. Hondas dont realy need a whole lot of touqe, their light. I have a B16 in a 95 civic, when it was all stock I ran a 15.5 fully stock. I put cam gears, underdrive pully, fuel regulator, aries forged pistons, bored 10 over, no ac power steering. Zooom pipe, aem intake, along with everything else. I now run a 14.8. that will beat any V8 stock. With slicks I ran a 14.1. You do the math.

Civic-Integra

by

I have a 92 Honda Civic CX, and a 91 Acura Integra GS. I belive the bottom end in the Integra is blown. Can I swap the bottom end from the Civic, and still have compairable preformance?
If not what would be a good engine swap, for an afordable price?
What engines do I have? (b15 or b16 or what?)

Re: Civic-Integra

by gerald

you have a B18B in your integra it says it on the front of the block. you can not use the civic bottom end. A easy way to look at stuff is, what ever letter it has at the front it is conpatable with, example, B16,B18,B20, all have the front letter in common. your civic is probably a D15 or D16. The next 2 letters are how many liters you have. 16 is 1.6 liters. An H22 is 2.2 liters. Now you know.
