The pivot bolt lock nut would be easier to just make rather than mode a old one. Same thing for the hood. The insert will just take some finesse to restore the old one or you can mod a new commonly available insert to fit but if you want it to look original you'll either have to try and fix that one or make a new insert from shim stock.
