I've never understood it. How come people say long hair is for the young, when chopping your hair into the dandilion cut is the surest sign of age?
Dandilion head makes me think of grandmothers, bad drivers, and giving in to the assertion that older women can't be sexy (which is total bull, ask Sophia Loren).
Long hair on older women makes me think of statuesque ballet teachers, proper victorian ladies, and elaboritely braided european folk tale grandmothers (at older ages).
