Please vote for #4. Great Danes are not cold weather dogs and mine especially does not like being chilly. He really enjoyed the hat that kept his big ears toasty warm.

Norman is darned cute with that hat on. I grew up with two black Danes... big, silly lap-dogs!

That's so funny! I have that picture printed out at my desk with the caption. I LOVE that picture!! It makes me laugh every time I see it. I have 2 Danes, Jethro, and my new addition Titus. Though they aren't as photogenic as Norman. He Rocks!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and Norman.

PS: How old was he in the first picture VS. this one? He still looks like such a puppy! Danes are awesome! You just can't go wrong with them.

He was just about 9 months to a year in the first picture, so he was still in that very awkward stage. In the latest picture, he is 3. I guess he still is awkward, since he wearing a hat and a scarf! Not nearly as good as when my 5 year old son dressed him up like a pirate (scarf, hat, eyepatch and a sword through his collar). I didn't get a picture of that one, unfortunately.

I will always have a Dane. They are the best.
