Careful!

A lot of women getting into politics are power hungry too just like the men. Still better but not exactly concerned in reality with the grassroots women.

I know what you mean as everyone hates politics and politicians in general tend to become pretty scummy people although they often went into politics with the original intention to help their people.Power is the most corruptive factor! This is not always true as there are some decent people in Parliament and I believe that they will continue to be decent-we just need more of them and we must view the whole exercise in a more positive light as someone has to make the "rules" and it seems to be generally accepted throughout the country that maybe women could do a better job.To enable this theory to be tested, women need to support women.......

Women are less corruptable

October 2 2001, 2:01 PM

Women are less money hungry and status seeking than men. They make better leaders. I'm not saying there are no money hungry women or that you cannot find ego women, but as a rule, men are a bit more this way. So they are a bit more corruptable than are women.

Because women don't try to dominate the whole society like men, women are better leaders if you want a truly democratic society to form!

In reality the problems of women are always much the same whether you be a working girl in the city or a grass roots meri. The biggest problem we have to face is being accepted as equals, wherever we may be.
