They oppress us, belittle us, rape us and murder us. They are animals and I hate them!

They are our sons, brothers and fathers...Hate does not correct the wrong that has been done...

So it is the womens fault then?

Where are these men and women from? Don't they come from some papa na mama? Where do these papas and mamas come from? Why do they (men especially) behave badly toward women or toward each other?

Some blame should go to early parenting of the child man. Everyone is the fruit of the tree from which they are born.
Some should go to the traditional outlook on the inequality between the sexes, ages, clans and other groupings with their various roles in society. Many of those mindset and roles need to change as circumstances have changed.

Your general statement about hating men could apply equally to you hating your dad, brothers, uncles, etc.. but mi ting mi save liklik long mining blong toktok blong yu.

Sorry Juno, was your comment directed at me? If it was, i am not blaming women, just stating that hate does not work to resolve the problems we as a people are experiencing. Women are by no means to blame what men or other women do, i'm sorry if there was some sort of confusion caused by my message!

We the Women will not advance the cause for our women or create a safe environment on our own. We need the support from the men.

Men are the best advocates for women & please let's not hate our men, we need them.

My sister was pack raped, so was a very close friend of mine. Do I hate those men? Yes! Those men should have terrable things happen to them.

When those men were raping my sister, were they her best advocate? Get real.

Hate eats away at us, it hardly affects those who we might hate.

There is so little education going on right now, just women speaking out in the newspapers and writing letters showing their anger against rape, that any of us doing anything is far better than the current state of so many doing nothing.

Yes.. I see why you hate men & do sympathise with you. Just a point to consider...it is not right to put all men into the same basket and the more we confess to hate the other half of population, the more hostile our society will become. That's real.

Don't hate them-they do have their limited uses.They are good at changing tyres on cars(when the wheel nuts are too tight),carying out the garbage cans and a few other things of which nothing springs to my mind at the moment

I agree that men can be pigs and unfeeling! But maybe it is the fathers that bring them up this way and maybe it is the mothers who dont tell them that women r equal in the eyes of god . We r all gods children and it is sad to see in some cultures that women r opressed and treated no better then dogs! my heart goes out to you women be strong and pray for love in your hearts and forgive those men who dont know any better than their parents taught them!
