PNG, Land of Liars and fakes!

Crime in PNG, as everyone knows is out of control. I really sympathise with the poor expats that come to PNG and are physically abused. As nationals we witness continuous violence throughout our childhood so we are somewhat immune to violence, but the viloence, such as robberies in mid air of an Australian pilot as reported by the National is an absolute disgrace to this country.

Incidents like this should not be tolerated. We can receive all the education we want. Half thre people on the internet I suspect are students or professors who write as though they have all the answers when in fact they may in theory , but in reality they themselves have accomplished very little and really can't afford nor desire to make any significant impact in PNG.

The point is we can educate all we want but untill we inform and educate the criminal elements in our society CRIME will continue to be expected in PNG. We don't punish enough either. The punishment is often easier thn the perpetratorss previous envioment. Go figure......
