However, Wantoks Forum now wishes to censor any further postings regarding Mr Jims Yaki. Their lame excuse is that these discussions degenerate into name calling.

Going through the archives it seems that name calling is typical for postings on Wantoks Forum irrespective of the issue.

Wantoks Forum seems more concerned about issues that end up protecting rapists than they are about insuring that rapists will pay for their sins and will think twice before creating any further rape victims.

If you are disgruntled with certain forums you visit then you have the choice to refrain from that forum again. You don't have to believe the hype and put up with ethics or practices you don't like. You do have a choice so use it.
There are a million and one forums out there and PNGians like us are everywhere.

I think you have made an excellent point, but until it is very easy for all Papua New Guineans to find out what forums are available, and more of the forums have a mininimum level of participation that makes them seem active, then I'm afraid most of us end up going back to Wantoks forum whether we like it or not. It's just because it is the most active forum, nothing more than that.

The owner of the wantoks forum is Tongan. The truth is he really doesn't care about Papua New Guinea. If it were Tonga and his Tongan sister then he might care. His website should be called Tonga.com. Not Niugini.com. We are Papua New Gunineans and he is not. We don't care what happens in Tonga and he doesn't care what happens in New Guinea. All he wants to do is sell his jewellery and buka baskets when he should be selling tapa cloth. His background image is a tapa cloth, not a bilum, or kundu so there you go.

So you wanted to know why wantoks forum doesn't care... it is because the owner is not a wantok from papua,or morobe, or highlands, or tolai, or sepik, or wherever else in PNG. He is from Tonga. You're right and you're wrong. The Tongan's brother, one of those idiot lawyers working in POM, is more of a hands on operator of the forum if we are to believe past postings on other forums. Someone by the name of Steven Kami. He seems a bit uncaring about his audience though.
