It's weird that there are no pictures of the Blue Line streetcars, though! I understand the strip mall parking lots from Narcissus to Focis and in front of Majoria's and Sal's are vestiges of the old Blue Line right of way. Before they built the new Metairie Road bridge at the 17th Streeet Canal you could look down at the canal bottom and see the stumps of pilings that used to carry the Blue Line trestle across the canal.
