You know I'm weird.

But, hey, this was one interesting guy. You wouldn't believe the stuff this guy did as a young man.

Besides, some of my ancestors were with him on the Hudson Bay Campaign. Just trying to fill in the blanks.

No.

This is an old and lovingly read book (by the looks of it) from the Terrytown library. Copyright 1954 by Cornell University and reissued in 1972 by Kennikat Press. Author: Nellis M. Crouse
L92L559.C (call number)

ISBN 9-8046-1677-9

See my next post for the next library book on my table waiting for me to read.

Thanks...here's my current stack of books

March 28 2008, 10:19 PM

...some partially read, some waiting patiently to be read:

-Jazz, The Complete Story
-This is Your Brain on Music
-The Spiritual Brain
-The Medici
-Brunelleschi's Dome
-3 travel guides to Florence
-The Validation Breakthrough
-Alone in a Crowd?
-Healthy Bones and Joints

Maybe I'd better finish some of these before I pile any more on that stack!

Pierre has always been one of my heroes and so has his brother, Jean-Baptiste (Bienville). JB was but 18 when he joined his bro to establish the Louisiana colony.

He's on my reading list, too.

I heard lots of stuff about him I need to research for the truth. Might do a novel on the founding of the LA colony.

I am slowing down workwise and would be most happy to collaborate with you on your project. Maybe we can get Algerine to make beer runs? LOL!
