A friend of mine left the cave in a bizarre and extreme way. He is a truly beautiful mind. Yet his own allegory has driven him to a constant internal monologue, one that consumes and controls him. he perceives the world as terribly troubled, and claims he "never asked for" the truths he has seen, nor for the wars he has forged in his own mind. Nor has he desired his torturous quest for truth. How to attempt to reach him? Anyone?
