What is Beauty? How would Plato answer?

In analogy terms, if exterior beauty is what we are forced to see as the shadows in the cave (such as a human being or a painting) than interior beauty is seeking (as the prisoner sought the light) wether or not the form is truly beautiful. I told Plato gives an answer but it's a little confusing. Please clarify if I'm on the right track.
