Response to St. Augustine and plato

 

While Augustine officially distances himself from Plato in his early or most public writings, he makes it quite clear in his deepest writings that he is in fact a Platonist-- but that is clear from Augustine's theology itself.

How would Augustine explain the Cave?
Depends to just whom he was speaking to.

So just whom are you?
