Response to Is the Republic a model for a fascist state? help!!!

I'm not sure what kind of answer your looking for,but I don't think that Plato's "The Allegory of The Cave" would be considered a fascist state because the prisoners have no ruler it seems like all of the prisoners are in one struggle together. There's different ways to look at this, if you think of struggle. Some fascist leaders thought a country had to struggle in order to aechive greatness (like Hitler). If you question is not only pertaining to this Allegory and is pertaining to the history of Plato him self then I can't help you for I have only studied the Allegory.
