DH 89 Dragon Rapide OH-BLB "Lappi" (= Lapland) was c/n 6401. On 7 Nov 1941 the crew conbsisted of lentokapteeni (Air Captain, or the Commander of a civil airliner, military rank Lt. /res/) Wolmar Laurila, R/T operator A.U.Heimo. The passengers were korpraali (Corp.) Valde Järviö and sotamiehet (Privatees) Vilho Manninen, Eemil Ronkanen and Veikko Pätsi. As correction to my previous post they were not wounded but returning to their units in Kiestinki area. However, OH-BLB was to pick up wounded for the return leg from Kiestinki. In the "air combat" R/T opetaror Heimo and one of the passengers were wounded by bullet splinters.
