i know this is slightly outwith the timeframe usually covered in this forum but was intregued by a recent posting...
re...claim that Swedish PR Spitfires have overflown Finland (post war, of course) on recce missions to USSR, Murmansk has been mentioned, and a chase of one Swedish Spitfire by Soviet MiGs over Finland. Any comments on these claims?
has anything been published in Finland re. post ww2 operational flights by the Ilmavoimat in particularly against reconaissance/spying overflights by Swedish or NATO. aircraft during the 1940's/50's
