Hi,

Does anyone know if all the B4A Harts from F19 were camouflaged during the Winter War? I've seen photos of Hart 'M' and it has an irregular pattern of aluminium/silver sprayed over the standard olive green upper sufraces.

I've also seen a couple of other photos that show the Harts in Finland but they do not appear to have the aluminium/silver pattern on them. One in particular shows Hart 'R' prior to its return to Sweden. It had a skull in place of the Finnish insignia and a slogan painted on the fuselage. Another shows a Hart under a shelter and from the angle the photo was taken it does not look like it has the aluminium/silver camouflage.

Would they have removed the aluminium/silver before it's return to Sweden?

Alex
