| Now that Jamie and Matty are back in the county and Fryer talking of returning is there a chance of the wellie boys regrouping and challenging for trophies again. And as the big man said, aspiring towards the Birmingham league a la Senor King. |

I dont think theres any chance of Wellington reforming. I don t think Fryer is coming back either. He is very retired I only did the Wellington thing for one year, that was enough. |

C'mon Matty boy you can't speak for the masses much less for the one and only Fryer. I am up for getting the Wellie boys back on the map once I move back to the shire.
Talking of which I met Freddie Flintoff at Trent Bridge a few days ago. I was there on official business. Sorry I can't indulge what about to you farmers. You won't understand anyway. We were chatting away and 'terrible' was how Freddie described not being allowed to play a game in the recent World Cup. However, I pointed out to him that for most people, a 'terrible' experience is something far worse than being plucked, pissed-up and laughing, from a pedalo in the West Indies at 4.00am on a works' outing and then, as a punishment, being excused from the 'works' part of the outing.
He was not pleased and refused to do the interview we had arranged. Spoilt brat comes to mind. | |
