I was told today that I should have a hood lock installed on my CR-V. I do have a massive alarm system, but I was informed that it only takes a second to pop the hood and clip the wiring for the sirens/air horns, giving the thief all the time in the world to do what he/she wants with your CR-V. The thought alone gets me angry! I was quoted $165.00 for a Medeco hood lock including installtion. Does anyone know if Multi-Lock makes a hood lock? Or any other brands and prices? BTW, I know if they really want it they will get it, but I figure if I can slow them down or deter them it's worth the investment!
