Gosh, Bluebird. I'm pretty sure that Phred can count high enough to understand what 40 days and 40 nights means. Besides, I think he was talking about the Biblical flood from Genesis that lasted a year, not just 40 days and 40 nights.

The point is, there is no evidence that such a flood ever took place. So you see, denying the flood is not speculation but a logical conclusion based on the idea that such an event would leave evidence that it took place everywhere around the world. Since there doesn't exist a single geological feature that indicates such an event, it didn't happen.
