Manchester music changed everything

what exactly did it change?
We have more war, crime, violence, political corruption, starvation
got more big brother cctv surveillance, more big brother shite telly
celebration of the stupid and talentless
more demonic celebrities, films etc
every actress is a prostitute
id cards coming in, mad viruses
every film about the devil and satanism
paedophilia, pornography on every news stand
if not more

what exactly did it change?

not having a go at the lad

understand the love of all things northern and the explosive music scene in manchester

wish he would focus more on the lyrics tho, less on the clothes, drugs and street culture, none of which matters, always the same, be it the sixties, punk, none of it changed anything. Sixties, punks and eighties ecstasy dudes all ended up back in the system...nothing changed. All just a fancy dress party.

"Come with me to a place no eyes have ever seen"

words that could change everything

wish he would write about what those words actually mean

my point being this

35,000 clueless, drugged up idiots in a field doesnt make a revolution - nothing like

still banging on about how they changed something, pretending theyre having a good time, making this event into something legendary and magical when really it was a hellish experience on every level possible (wrong vibe, wrong place, no real ecstacy about it)
