In answer to your question, im old enough to remember family members who died and were wounded in the 2nd world war in the belief they were fighting "the last war", so that future generations didnt have to suffer the same fate. And on the contrary, wearing a poppy is indeed supporting the leaders/establishment and encouraging them in their neverending war agenda. I know a few war veterans and can assure you none of the money you give goes to them. Yet all the generals and war leaders are rolling in money. Funny that, eh?
