The railway cottages may have been one of the Navvies' Cottages, one of which still exists, next to Station House, across the road from the old station, on Butt Lane.

I'm unsure where Glebe Junction was, probably the level crossing on Glebe Road was meant.

"Ashleybe" may be Asfordby, near Melton Mowbray.
