what to do with pressure vessels taken out of service? should they be desposed of as solid waste or be allowed to be stored near peoples land and homes/lakes/ponds? how would we know if there safe without proper safety lables applied to equipment and with out the paper trail that should follow the equipment? so many questions to answer, where might one find a fact sheet that relates to the questions put forth here and what actions can ASME take against pressure vessel violations? wish i knew where to start, and who's in charge? have any info that might point me in the right direction please e-mail Big Thanks...

Hey folks, where would I be able to find a database that included the Young's Modulus and Shear Modulus, as functions of temperature for Mylar and Kapton?
Thanks,

I will give you the captions to place under them.

I talked to Harvey Osborne on 1/10/00, and he told me that he has set aside a computer and plans on running the network connection sometime this semester. This means a highspeed internet connection will be available to us, and I would also expect printing capabilities.

Are you going to include a calender of events on the ASME Webpage? I was just wondering! I'm trying to schedule a date that I can come and give a presentation...and I don't want to interfere with mid-terms, finals, spring break, crawfish boils(boy I miss those), et.

I have been trying to contact David Simmons, the ASME chapter president, but have had no luck. Several emails and phone messages, but no response... as soon as I do see him (Thursday at school, probably) I plan to get a list from him. It should include all holidays, meetings, finals, etc...

Will someone please contact Denise Stutes and have her call me so that we can get the first registration mail out for the conference (IN MARCH)
Thanks
Also I want to ask David how is the tee shirt design coming. I hear that some of the BR section
chapter members are interested in purchasing it
before the conference.
