one (stupid) question about DML Tiger I

I see everybody going nuts with this shortage of DML Tigers and as I want to build another Tiger I, I am about to go mad myself ... so the question is, don't you guys think the Tamiya kit + (for example) the voyager PE set would be a perfect choice ?
I mean, I have built the cyber-hobby DAK Tiger, built the AFV tiger (late) and as much as I loved them, I can't see a reason why people would pay over $60 (listed price at squadron usa) to get this marvel when one can get the Tamiya/Voyager team for a cheaper price ...
Or maybe i am missing something ?
I welcome your advice.
