The sight aperture rain channel was a June change, PT 5-42. That's consistent with the twin headlights and no mg ring for July or early Aug production, right?

I think I see hardware on the right limb of the first roadwheel, and I think it's 24-bolt spacing. That's obviously speculative.

In the lower photo, is the fine diagonal line extending down from the sole of Elsner's boot a hanging wire for the spare links?
