Chris,

the production of the first series of 170V was stopped in 1942, a bit early for dunkelgelb or just straddling the line. Judging from the seats and the general appearance (to fresh for a 13 year old car), I dare say it is a post-war built and the beige colour was either a light cream or ivory, both in the Mercedes Benz line then.
