No doubt the Littlefield Panther has been restored in a meticulous fashion but that does not mean that everything on it is absolutely correct. I have colour pictures of a submerged Panther recovered from Russia - now in Sinsheim which clearly shows the engine bay and radiator compartments painted in red primer. I believe the littlefield one is finished in pale grey? Engine bays may have been finished in mid grey but as a reference the Sinsheim Panther is original and therefore 'correct'.
My point is that no one seems to be able to find a wartime picture of a slotted light sleeve on a vehicle. I have shown that the non-sleeved versions were being fitted right up till the time the factory was captured. I am very happy for someone to prove me wrong
