Response to Panzerlehr Div. query. Is there a book that covers

by Helmut Ritgen is the best available. There is also the Heimdal history by Perrigault. I would personally not recommend Kurowski's history. I have all three as well as Ritgen's The Western Front 1944: memoirs of a Panzer Lehr officer by J.J. Fedorowicz. This last one is the only one in English and is a reworked (not a translation) of Ritgen's history of the Pz-Lehr (some paragraphs are taken directly from "Die Geschichte" while some parts are missing and others in "The Western Front" are not in "Die Geschichte". Overall "Die Geschichte" is more detailed. There is, I have heard, a book in progress by a very knowledgeable French author that may be published within the next few years, though it will probably be initially only available in French.

If you have any further questions let me know.
