Was the SdKfz 8 Halftrack w/8.8cm Flak 18 (as depicted in the new Trumpeter kit) used in the desert? From what I can gather reading Dreaded Threat by Tom Jentz, ten of them were used in Poland and six were used on the Western front (France, Belgium) and then in Russia. It's unclear how many were actually constructed (30 were initially ordered, but I think only 10 were ultimately delivered). In any case, what happened to the other 4 after Poland? There is no indication there were destroyed in Poland.
