Response to Tiger II in colour

It's nice to see a high quality pic like this, it brings out all the details well.
I'm on the side of real colour, just way too much work there for colorizing, even the twigs between the wire mesh in front of the tank are individually colored.
Can't explain the grey building behind the barrel but that might just be bright sun on the building washing out the colour.

Also can't explain the painted line at the missing front fender, maybe repainted after the guards were lost and for some unexplained reason that area was 'masked'.. stranger things have happened. Does that line extend around the side to under the side fender as well, looks like the dirty colour might? That line also exists on the other B/W pics too, not a colorizing mistake in my opinion.

No wear marks on the turret side where the spare links were? In the B/W pic with the kids sitting on it there aren't any obvious wear marks either?
Just my 2c worth.
Some interesting points made here, all with merit.
