AP hit impact mark ?

Hi Paul
One thing i did notice on the B&W photo. There appears to be an AP/HE impact ( non penetrating ) on the left hand side above just above the mudguard weld beads. It even seems to have two spalling ridges next to it. This is only clear on the B&W photo. On the colour/colourisied version this 'impact' is the same camo colour as the surrounding area.

Surely the impact would be a dull or shiny metal colour. Maybe a dull grayish colour even. Even if old and dust covered it would not match the camo colour but would be dust coloured. Certainly IF it is an impact site then it does not seem to match other photos of impacts on tanks I've seen on WW2 tanks.

There also SEEMS to be a bigger impact mark on the front plate just below the main gun barrel. again only visible on the B&W photo. Of Course it may just be a dirt mark.


My computer skills unfortunately do not allow me to highlight and post the said area as you have done Paul.
