It isn't a horrible kit but its pretty basic. If you have built any of the mid 70s Tamiya stuff its all in the same ball park. The 8 rad, 222 armored car, 88 gun.
I recall something goofy with the engine hood but its been a long time since I built the kit.I think there should be a HOLE on the left side of the hood/cab but on the kit, Tamiya molded this as a huge slot open to the bottom of the cab.

....but never built any of the trucks. Plenty of tanks, jeeps, land rovers and field artillery pieces but I never had interest in the German 2x4, 4x4 or 6x4 vehicles until lately.
The front bumper assembly was hard to model for Tamiya, because it lengthened the model. So, Tamiya cheated, the chassis was shortened under the cabin by 3,5mm.
It needs also the floor of the cabin and hood elevated by 1,5 mm.
All these affects to the front bumper, low sides of the hood, inside of the cabin, exhaust Y-tubing (furthermore, it's not symmetrical) and level of the headlights.
Both Tamiya 1/35 Krupp have the same trouble.
