Hey,
I'm sure many have read my tale of losing almost all my books in a divorce last year, so I'm kinda short change on certain questions.
I'm wondering about evidence (photos) of concrete added to Stug ICe? Can anyone help me out? The, John S.

If you do a Google search on the term "Stug IV concrete armor" a modest number of images will be returned showing concrete armour. Also, there's this discussion almost exactly a year ago:http://www.network54.com/Forum/47207/message/1304625222/Stug+IV+prepped+for+concrete+armor

In fact it's not bad...

... I have that sprue, my advice is to snip off the 2 x concrete bits for possible use (they actually look ok!), but then throw the rest of the kit away, obviously. Another of Tamiya's 1970-80s attempts to wrap a tank-like shape around 2 HP3 batteries and an electric motor.

Here are some images of the concrete actually being applied to the glacis plate. It is already on the superstructure front with tracks embedded. I have seen it on the roof, built around the front and side of the drivers compartment, around the cupola and extended out from the right side of the gun.

From the same book I mentioned this roof shot in a thread further down the page
