Flak 36 for Fall Gelb?

All of the pics of the Flak 88 used as a PAK were the 88 18. Can anyone can confirm that the 36 was also used? If not, how hard it is to backdate the dML 36 kit to an 88 18? Thanks.

to make a real FlaK 18

Its considerably different from the FlaK 36/37. You would be much better off buying the AFV Club kit. It's sort of like trying to convert a Panzer IV D into a Panzer IV J.

More like trying to convert a Pz III from a Pz IV

that's my opinion. The Flak 18 was completely different except for the gun and cradle from the Flak 36.

AFV Club is your sol'n.

We know ...

...that the Flak 36 first rolled off the assembly lines in 1936. So it's theoretically possible even if you've not come across photo evidence.
