Tiger #123 of s.Pz.Abt.503

I've seen an image in Tigers in Combat I of the above Tiger with a tyre mounted on the hull. Does anyone know how this was attached as I can't see any clamps holding the tyre on to the hull.

The 503rd had three different Tigers numbered "123" but I know the one that you mean.
The tyre was probably attached by wire. It could have been looped around the antenna tube but it's much more likely that the two rearmost tarpaulin attachment loops were used.
