Hello everybody;
I bought an AFV Club Sd.kfz. 251/3 D recently (the "last version" upper hull was reqiured for annother project).
After considering I've decided to build it as the command half track Peiper used during the Battle of the Bulge/ Ardennes offensive, but I couldn`t find any info about the radios installed.
AFAIK there were five and later seven subvariants (with different radios) produced.
Can I use the AFV Club kit or do I have to change something?

Thanks in advance

great stuff in there concerning the radio track in LeGleize. That was indeed the track that was "sliced" into the Panzergruppe for the operation but from all I read Peiper was actually riding in the -3 that belonged to III/2SS PzGrenRegt and was Diefenthals' command mount. Not sure what antennae array and radio nomenclature set up was in that one but would it be the same as a Division level radio track ?
